Enjoyed meeting you (Katie)at the Christmas party in ABQ on the 15th. I forget whose house it was - I had come up from Phoenix that day - but I played a couple songs (sort of) and well... if you recall, I'm pretty tall and we talked about your engagement and my wife and yada yada... It was a great pleasure to hear you perform at the Albuquerque airport this morning. You have a wonderful Western sound and a winning stage presence. Your rendition of "Red River Valley" was very moving for me, as my mother was born in that part of Texas. Thanks for sharing your talents in that way.
I listened to your CD on the way home, and enjoyed it very much. Two favorite tracks: "There's a Moon In The Sky", and "Lonesome on the Range". The latter, I think, may make a fine fingerstyle guitar arrangement. If I have any success there, I'll send you a copy of the recording.
