- This establishment is a long-time icon on the Plaza of historical Old Town near downtown Albuquerque. - This is a wonderful independant bookstore in the North Valley of Albuquerque. Located on 4022 Rio Grande Blvd in Dietz Farm Plaza, they carry all the mainstream titles and showcase local and regional authors as well. They also support local musicians like myself and The Buckarettes! Bookworks has a fine array of surprising gift ideas for that hard-to-buy-for-person. A little bit of everything is what you'll find at Bookworks--just next door to The Flying Star Cafe where you can read or listen to your new find accompanied by a great cup of coffee and a luscious pastry. - Susan Clark
- Find out more about one of our very own Buckarettes, Susan Clark. She has been a fantastic addition to our almost all girl cowgirl band. Being a singer/songwriter is her true passion, and her most recent solo album gained three BIG awards this year at the New Mexico Mic Awards. It holds the "Album of the Year" award, "Best Production of the Year" award, and "Best Song of the Year" award. Those are the three top awards that you can get! Not, bad, huh?
